VOLUNTEER
Be Part of the Work. Be Part of the Change.
Building safer communities is not the work of one person or one courtroom—it is the work of all of us.
Judge Ieshia Gray’s work in restorative justice, community engagement, leadership development and violence prevention is grounded in a simple truth:
Real change happens when people come together with purpose.
Through Cook County’s Restorative Justice Community Court and community-based initiatives, volunteers play a vital role in helping to:
- support individuals on a path toward accountability and growth
- strengthen community connections
- provide resources and guidance to those in need
- and help prevent harm before it happens
This is more than volunteering.
This is an opportunity to be part of a movement focused on restoration, leadership development, responsibility, and safer communities.
